We list candidates only with their consent. We keep a record of when consent was given and the exact wording they agreed to.

Anyone can see an anonymised profile: a reference number, job title, service area, experience band, skills, country and availability. We never show a name, town or city, employer or contact details in a profile.

Your full name, contact details, location, employers, CV and photo are shared only with a business client that our team has approved for you specifically. Each time an approved client opens your details or a file, we record it.

Our lawful basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by contacting us, and we will remove your profile and permanently delete your details and files.

When you register we collect your work email, name and company name so we can check and approve your account and handle your interview requests. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure service to businesses, and taking steps to enter into a contract with you.

We record which candidate profiles you request and which unlocked details you view, so we can protect candidates and meet our obligations under UK GDPR.

The portal's database and files are hosted in the London region within the UK. Files such as CVs and photos are kept in private storage and are only ever shared through links that expire after one minute.

We keep candidate details while the candidate is listed with us and delete them when consent is withdrawn or when the listing ends. We keep client account details while the account is active. Audit records are kept so we can show who accessed what, and they hold only a reference number once a candidate has been deleted.

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in securely. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so we do not ask for cookie consent. If that ever changes, we will ask you first.

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us at info@kalman.co.uk.
